The UAE has prohibited its citizens from traveling to Nepal due to the risk of Covid-19

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has prohibited its citizens from visiting a number of countries, including Nepal.

This comes after the UAE extended a travel ban on passengers from 14 countries until July 21 due to the Covid-19 , to media reports.

According to The Express Tribune, the Foreign Ministry and the National Emergency, Crisis, and Disaster Management Authority stated that with the start of the travel season, citizens must follow all precautionary and preventive measures to Covid-19.

Flights from 14 countries, including Liberia, Namibia, Sierra Leone, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Zambia, Vietnam, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Nigeria, and South Africa, will be suspended until 23:59 hours on July 21, 2021, according to a notice issued to airmen (NOTAM).
