Second test of Janakpur-Jayanagar railway tomorrow, notice to clear the leak
JANAKPUR: JULY 17 – The second test of the Janakpur-Jainagar railway is scheduled to be held on Sunday. The second test on Sunday will be at a speed of 120 kilometers per hour.
Guru Bhattarai, general manager of Nepal Railway Company, informed that the speed test and certification of the railway track will be done on Sunday. Bhattarai informed through social media that the speed and certification of the railway leak will be done. According to General Manager Bhattarai, a speed test will be done by the diesel locomotive of India’s preferred Central Railway.
General Manager Bhattarai wrote on social media, “Safety is important on the railway tracks as the speed of the train will be 120 km per hour during the speed test.” Therefore, on Sunday, the general public around the railway track is requested not to leave people, cows, buffaloes, quadrupeds, bicycles, motorcycles, and children on the track and to keep distance from the track.
He also informed that adequate police and personnel would be deployed at the tracks and stations during the test. He warned that the information about the test has already been issued and if there is an accident due to disobedience, the person will be responsible for it and action will be taken according to the law.
