Pokhara city govt to contribute Rs 1 million to mayor’s treatment

The Pokhara metropolitan city says it has allocated Rs 1 million for the medical treatment of its mayor Man Bahadur GC.

GC, after experiencing a brain haemorrhage, is undergoing treatment at the Neuro Hospital in Kathmandu.

A meeting of the 51st municipal executive held on Tuesday made the decision, informs the city government’s spokesperson Dhan Bahadur GC. He adds the government will release the amount its Disaster Management .

After experiencing some problems in health, GC was admitted to the Manipal Hospital in Pokhara on Friday morning last week. The same afternoon, he was rushed to Kathmandu f
