Nepal Telecom (NT), the state-owned telecommunications service provider, has recently started VoLTE service for customers. It has been testing VoLTE service while also beginning to expand 4G into more areas of Nepal. The NT’s 4G service is currently available in all 77 districts of Nepal. However, it has officially launched the VoLTE service on the occasion of World Telecommunications and Information Society Day. This service allows users to make HD audio and video conversations over a 4G network.
