KATHMANDU: JULY 10 – The railway agreement between Nepal and India was exchanged on Friday. The agreement was signed on behalf of Nepal by Dinesh Bhattarai, Secretary, Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, and Sushant Kumar Mishra, Additional Member, Railway Board of India.
After the agreement, Indian Railways and Nepal Railways will be able to use the railway service for transporting goods to Nepal.
Nepal will be able to transport cargo from Kolkata, Haldia, and other ports. Entrepreneurs are happy that the cost of goods transported to Nepal from India and third countries via India will be reduced after
