TAPLEJUNG: JULY 10 – A Nepal Airlines flight has landed at Suketar Airport in Taplejung, which has been closed for a long time due to COVID-19. The aircraft landed for the first time today after regular flights were canceled for two months due to covid.
A Nepal Airlines flight carrying seven passengers from Kathmandu arrived in Suketar this morning. The aircraft returned to Kathmandu with 16 passengers from Taplejung, said Lokendra Limbu, station in-charge of Suketar Airport.
The corporation had started regular flights since last Monday. The aircraft carrying nine passengers from Kathmandu failed to land last Monday due to bad weather and returned to Kathmandu. The aircraft that could not land on Monday landed today, said Limbu, station in-charge of Suketar Airport.
